A UNICEF study in 2013 found that as many as 27.2 million women in Egypt have been circumcised. The Egyptian cabinet recently approved a draft law that would impose stiffer penalties for those who force girls and women into FGM.Nonetheless, the refugee was sentenced on a slew of charges, including “inciting debauchery” and “solicitation to commit immoral acts in public.” The case comes amid a crackdown on the gay community in Egypt, and also recently on atheists, that has gone hand in hand with a wider campaign against all forms of dissent and diversity in a country gripped by rising nationalism and a militant insurgency.Numerous human rights organizations have harshly criticized the recent clampdown, which among other things, has led to the arrest of more than 150 Egyptians suspected of being homosexual since President Abdel Fattah el-Sissi took office. The centuries-old practice involves the partial or full removal of the external sex organs, usually with a knife or razor blade, in a belief that doing so reduces sexual desires.
I mean seriously, would you want to spend your youthful years searching for the "exception" in a country with a 90 million population? I hate to generalize, but unfortunately, there are some personality traits that are common in almost all Egyptian men.
This perhaps comes via meeting a lot of men so I am able to weed out the good catches from the not-so-good.
Although I hate to generalize, there are some negative personality traits that I have observed too often from a lot of Egyptian men which can be red flags.
Control freak tendencies even if minor, quick personality shifts or changes which can include revenge, quick to anger, inability to admit errors or wrongdoing, and poor active listening skills thus a tendency to interrupt too quickly.
The key to marrying a good Egyptian man is to test him. Wanting to leave Egypt is not always a bad sign since many indeed want to create a better life for themselves and their future family or at least explore the world.
