But, if taught us anything, it is that sometimes “The One” is right in front of you.
It’s not always about finding someone who is just your type or the person who is the most physically attractive. Whether or not you have already thought of them in a romantic way, it is worth considering whether there is more to your relationship than you originally thought.
But it's nice to know that if you did start dating your best friend, they'll just slide right into family gatherings and skip right past the awkward "meet my family" stage. You've thought about dating them before, then they thought of dating you, but things never lined up right.
And that someone might just be your best friend, the person who has been there all along. Those closest to you regularly ask when both of you are getting together, and you’re constantly having to convince them that you are just good friends.
Plant the seed One reason a guy might get stuck in the “friend zone” is because the girl simply has no clue he’s interested in her.
And if he’s the type of guy who doesn’t date much or talk openly about his dating life, she may not see you as being particularly interested in dating women at all.
More precisely, would it make your relationship easier…or harder?
When I set out to explore this question for this piece, one of my own stories kept coming back to me.
